Standards governing completion of a major

A minimum of 23 credits is required in courses numbered 3000–4999, 尽管有些项目需要更多.
No more than 75 credits may be required or controlled by a school in designating requirements for a major without review and approval of the SPU Curriculum Committee.

These requirements of proficiency in depth and breadth for each major are specified in the sections of the 本科目录 assigned to the various schools or departments of the University.
